This policy covers benmyers.org, the personal portfolio of Ben Myers. It is short because the site does very little.
Nothing. benmyers.org collects no personal data. There is no contact form, no account, no newsletter signup and no comment system, so there is no mechanism here through which you could submit information even if you wanted to.
The site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers of any kind. Nothing you do here is recorded, profiled or shared, and no profile of you is built.
Every asset the site needs is served from its own domain. Loading a page makes no request to any third party, so no other company learns that you visited.
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard operational request logs as part of running any web server. These can include an IP address, the page requested and a browser user agent. They exist so the host can serve traffic and investigate abuse or outages, they are held by Vercel under its own privacy policy, and they are not used here to identify or track anyone.
This site links out to GitHub, LinkedIn and to businesses operated by Art Ecommerce, LLC. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site and their privacy policy applies, not this one.
Rights such as access, correction and deletion under the GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws apply to data a site actually holds about you. Because this site holds none, there is nothing to request, correct or delete. If you believe otherwise, get in touch and it will be resolved.
If this site ever begins collecting data, for instance by adding analytics or a contact form, this policy will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
